The Story

I love cooking and baking. I especially love learning new cooking skills and trying out new recipes. What I don't love is trying to find a recipe I need online and having to scroll and scroll and scroll before I can actually get to ingredients and directions. (And don't even get me started on the pop-ups and adds)

Ya Basic Recipe Blog is truly my own little passion project to give people what I hear them asking for again and again: a recipe blog without the fluff. Simple, basic recipes in a simple, basic format.
